As part of the Federal Trade Commission’s efforts to combat identity theft and other scams, the FTC has released a new set of resources called “Pass It On.” The goal of this initiative is to promote discussions between friends, family members, and others in the community to educate them on the dangers of consumer scams and identity theft. The resources provided by the FTC include educational activities, videos, and articles designed to spur conversations with those targeted by criminals the most, the elderly and disabled.
