Meet the Team, Staff Spotlight: Michelle Goetz

mgoetzMichelle Goetz is a Project Coordinator at Elder Law of Michigan and has been a member of the Elder Law of Michigan team since October 2017. She has a Master of Science in Legal Administration from the Denver Sturm College of Law and a Bachelor of the Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Recently, Michelle passed the Michigan Bar, and has been involved in numerous projects to improve Elder Law of Michigan’s ability to serve its clients.    

Here are some fun facts about Michelle: 

Q: Before working at Elder Law of Michigan, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?   

A: Head coach for middle school lacrosse.  

Q: How do you balance your career at Elder Law of Michigan and family?   

A: Spending time with my family, friends, three cats and dog.    

Q: What has been your favorite project at Elder Law of Michigan?   

A: The partnership with Delta Township District Public Library to explore new ways to deliver legal services.        

Q: What advice would you give to recent new hires?  

A: Read the employee manual – it contains many secrets and treasures.   

Q: Best vacation you’ve been to?   

A: Spain.    

Q: Describe what you were like at age 10.  

A: Athletic/tomboy.   

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?  

A: Restore furniture.   

Q: Which cartoon character would you most like to switch lives with?   

A: Ariel the mermaid.
