31 Days of Giving, Day Thirteen: Loaves and Fishes Ministries

Today, I spent the day at Loaves and Fishes Ministries. We separated all of the donated Christmas gifts for everyone staying at the shelter, followed by evenly packing gift bags for six men and four women. This task made me think about how so many organizations run solely on donations, Loaves and Fishes being one of them.

There are many other ways to donate to an organization like Loaves and Fishes without necessarily making a monetary donation. You can make an impact by donating your time, gently used items, canned goods, or even a holiday gift that you don’t envision yourself using. Here is a list of items that Loaves and Fishes currently needs:

1. Canned Goods
2. Clothes (Mens & Womens)
3. Winter Coats
4. Winter Hats, Gloves, Boots, Scarves, Etc.
5. Blankets
6. Pillows
7. Towels
8. 8. Personal Care Items
9. 9. Cleaning Products
