Detroit 0% Interest Home Repair Loan

Low-income Detroit residents now have a new option to help with home repairs. A 0% Interest Home Repair Loan is a new option to assist homeowners with needed repairs. You must own your own home and have lived in it for the past 6 months. To qualify, you must have a credit score of at least 560. You can attain your credit score for free from https://www.annualcreditreport.com/. This program is able to assist many families that have been unable to qualify for a traditional home equity loan. The program will let residents to invest in their own homes and help create stronger neighborhoods. For more information on this program, you can visit the program website.


Michael Wendel is an Administrative Specialist at Elder Law of Michigan, and has been a member of the Elder Law team since November 2014.

Michael Wendel is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Accountancy from Davenport University, and anticipates to graduate with Bachelor of Accountancy in the fall of 2015 from Davenport University.

Before joining the Elder Law of Michigan team, he worked in in customer service and retail management. As an Administrative Specialist at ELM, Michael provides administrative assistance to the housing counselors and assists in reporting.
