MSHDA Announces Lower Mortgage Interest Rates in Eight Michigan Select Cities

Five of Michigan’s hardest hit blight cities and three other cities showing a significant decline in housing sales have been selected for a $30 million set-aside of funds to provide lower interest rates to either first-time homebuyers statewide or repeat homebuyers in Targeted Areas. The homebuyer’s income must qualify and the property must be their primary residence and not exceed MSHDA’s MI First Home program’s sales price limit of $224, 500.
