Staff Spotlight – Dawn Kepler

by Natalie Pearce, Director of Economic Security

Dawn KeplerIt is with great pleasure that I introduce you to Dawn Kepler for the Staff Spotlight of the month of July. Dawn is the Project Administrator for our NCOA (National Council on Aging) grants, as part of the Economic Security Team. She has been with Elder Law of Michigan, Inc. (ELM) since March 2014. In that time, Dawn has distinguished herself as a highly organized, detail-oriented, and hardworking team player.

Under Dawn’s direction, we have consistently met and/or exceeded our goals and objectives. Recently, Dawn was asked by NCOA to present at their national conference regarding Benefits Enrollment Centers and to discuss this work with legislators at the national level. In addition, she has been the lead on a number of successful grant writing projects throughout the past year. If Dawn is on the job, you can count on it being accomplished to the very best of her ability. She is an asset to every project in which she makes a contribution and to Elder Law of Michigan as a whole.

When she is not at ELM, Dawn keeps herself busy by renovating her home, built in 1890, with her husband. She is also an animal lover and has rescued two dogs, a puppy, and two cats. Dawn spreads joy throughout the office when she brings in her dog, Luca.

Thank you, Dawn, for all of your contributions to our team and to ELM!
