 If your dad is around, would you do me a favor? Forget finding the ‘perfect’ gift, and spend some time with him.  

My dad lives far away from me, but we always make a Skype date (virtual) to catch up. Like many of those who will read this post, my life can be busy and time flies by. Therefore, it becomes even more important to make sure my dad knows how much he means to me and my family.  

Although no one is perfect, fathers too deserve some special time and words, even though they may try to put on a tough façade.  

If my dad were in Michigan, he would be happy even if I were to sit and watch his favorite movies with him, go to his favorite restaurant, help clean up his yard, or even go to a nearby lake and go fishing. It doesn’t have to be something expensive, just something genuine.
